Channel 5 Eyewitness News reported Wednesday that robbers are targeting Memphis car washes. On Tuesday, May 16th, a man was carjacked at a car wash on Highland; the thieves got the man’s white Pontiac Grand Prix and $20 in cash. Apparently, three other similar incidents have occurred since April.
So if someone writes “Wash Me” on the back window of your vehicle, beware: It just might be a trap.
